I've been reflecting and integrating what I've learned since becoming a mother 💛

I find that self compassion, soul- deep support network and being clear in my intentions moment to moment (therefore being present) are key to my sanity 🤱🧘‍♀️💃

There's even more divine support right now to shine a light on our individual and collective shadows. I'm using this time to reconnect with my family 8 thousand miles away 😘

January 2023 🌱💛 grateful for every moment of healing, joy nourishment; walkies with Jess girl, fresh air, extended child's pose, nourishing meals, family time, meeting soul sisters for the first time in what feels like forever (thank you Lola and Willow) 💛💛 Monday playgroups, meeting new mum friends, play time and bath times with Pip. New Moon gong bath 🧘‍♀️ date night with Rick and getting creative at home and at Werk Emporium ✏🎨

My intention for February is to prioritise reconnecting with my soul sisters and family, its been wayyy too long 😭 No nursery bugs, flu or Covid can stop me from doing so... Phew. Now time to co create with my Heart, Soul and the Universe 💛🧘‍♀️ sending love and light to you all 😘💫💛🙏

Stopped for a moment to breathe intentionally and enjoyed a spring like sunshine 🌱☺💛

Made a wholesome lunch made with organic tofu, stir fry veg and puy lentils (easy and quick!)

Drank lots of Turmeric chai! (Fave tea atm)🍵

Danced with Pip when I needed a cheering up 🎶🥰

Practiced restorative yoga asanas this evening- 15 mins of child's pose is my personal best yet 😴

I'm still recovering post Covid but every little bit of self care is helping, I wish you all a wonderful week ahead 😘💛🙏

Where's my nose? 👃 Sunday morning family time

Where's my nose? 👃

Sunday morning family time before Rick goes to work (family breakfast and playtime 9 till 10ish)

Bath no. 1 by 11am

Headache from a head cold, playtime with Pip, got him changed, second breakfast (in bed) then laid down in bed to feed Pip and rest my sore head by 12ish.

Got up, did 10 mins of Qigong for my joints, 5 mins of cat cow and child's pose.

Shoulder relaxation for a few minutes for my aching shoulders (mostly from feeding and working from my phone and laptop)

Playtime with Pip for another half hour...noticed he was doing a big 💩 (I still can't smell post Covid) but the signs were obvious 🥴 and my prediction was right 🤣

Bath no. 2 and full change. Breastfeed in bed. Chill for 10 mins.
Its now half past 1- time to take Jess out 🤪 (finally!)

Motherhood is unpredictable. Surrendering control and adding me-moments in between my mum jobs helps me ground and tune into gratitude and joy 🥰 the small things are my big wins 🙏

2022 was a tough one but with every challenge comes expansion of awareness.

Constant lessons on self care. Prioritising my energy and time. Asking for support.
Trusting my intuition.
Communicating my desires. Speaking my truth.
Honouring my boundaries.
Surrendering to the Divine.

Being a mum is my most important role in this lifetime ☺💛🙏
I feel deep gratitude for each day I wake up next to Pip 💛 (I love co sleeping with you! Being as fully present as I can to slow time down 🤱)

To all mums out there:
You are enough. You are doing an amazing job 👑👏
And most importantly, schedule in some time for YOU. You deserve it Queen 💛

We've had flu before Christmas followed by Covid after Christmas 🤒🤧🤦‍♂️😭 I hope it all ends very soon!

Trying to keep hydrated while I'm still breastfeeding, definitely the toughest challenge I've had yet. Pip's getting better but I still feel weak and tired 🤒🤧

Please send healing vibes to our family, we definitely need it right now 💛🙏

Christmas Eve Eve/Super New Moon/Solstice portal reflections...

First Christmas in our new home and no Christmas decs are up yet...
We bought a tree but its currently bare 😁
No cards written and no presents wrapped yet neither 😘

But I am absolutely fine with that ☺

Currently sitting in bed so grateful to watch dad and lad recovering from the lergie that's going around.
We spent more hours asleep than being awake in recent days! 😴
I took a selfie yesterday and sent this to my friend when she asked how I was (not 100% but felt better after crying, talking, sleeping, journalling and dancing these recent days) 😉

I've definitely felt the least Christmassy this year. But equally the most content and grateful.
Maybe its age? Haha.
I love that prioritising my health and my family's health feels easier nowadays.
It used to make me feel guilty 'missing out' on commitments and making last minute changes, letting 'people down'.

But post lockdown and postpartum version of me doesn't apologise for putting our health as priority anymore 💛

So here's a reminder that it's okay to rest these holidays 😴

Sending an abundance of love, joy, peace and great health to soul family this Solstice and holiday season.

...starting with my mum, sister and nephew visiting this week and an afternoon of nourishment with my sister Nicole and Doula lightworker friend Tamzin today 🥰💛🙏

Postpartum Weeks 41 to 52 (and its Pip's 1st birthday tomorrow). Honest snapshot of an exhausted first time mum 😂🙈🤪

Teething for his 1st back molar started 25th August... 10 very unsettled and sleepless nights.

Pip started nursery.
I started back at work.
I had a sickness bug 🤮 followed by mastitis AND a seasonal flu (cough and cold)...

We moved into our home 1st of October 💛 (woohoo! Big relief! Thank you Rick and grandma Fi aka the DIY dream team)🙏🥳

Then Pip had hand, foot and mouth (no nursery for a whole week)
Then he caught a sickness bug (13th and 14th of October) projectile vomited on me and Rick 🤮😭

Started teething for back molar number 2 in between bugs...

We had a week and a bit off illnesses at week 50!

Then...Pip had a temperature and a cold from Saturday night (pilay?) Until Tuesday afternoon.

Lola Lyn medicine woman hinilot si Pip (baby massage) and no more high temp since last night 🤞
Now I'm full of cold 🤧 (day before his 1st birthday...)

So...a simple day tomorrow with a GIANT Colin the Caterpillar it is 🐛

Someone make me a steady supply homemade soup and HOT cuppas tomorrow please I totally deserve it 😂

Thank Goddess for all the yogic tools and tricks I've learned during lockdown that has kept me sane 💛 and to my dear mentor and friend Kelly, I highly recommend her courses and mentorship 🙏

I've spent the first week of my 30s going to the vets (Jess is okay) 😀 hanging washing out at least a dozen times ☀️👕👗 (current obsession?), feeding a poorly Rick, moving furniture into storage (moving house very soon!), lots of baby Pip cuddles, dancing, eating cake and picnics at our favourite local beach 🐾🏖☀️😍

Manifested and manifesting BIG life changes in recent weeks and months since the 2/2 portal... and that included facing some of my biggest fears (more on this on another gratitude post later) 💛

Another Solstice is upon us and it signals new beginnings 🌱💛 individually and collectively I really feel we need it 😁

Be kind to yourself wherever you are on your journey, remember you are divinely guided in all ways always 💫😘

Last year's full moon in Virgo was a night to remember 💛

Since the last full moon, I've relearned the lesson of balancing my doing and being 🙏

It's okay to miss a few baby groups and reprioritise commitments 😊

I'm really enjoying my daily self care mornings with Pip; breathwork, bamboo tapping, singing mantras, setting intentions, dancing and gentle yoga asanas (he observes and laughs while I do it!) 😂

Walks in nature, journalling, meeting friends spontaneously, cooking Ayurvedic soups and planning women's yoga and wellness events...it all fills me up with joy and excitement! (In between nappy changes and house work ofcourse) 😂

My body, mind and soul is recharged and aligning with my visions for this energetic year.

I celebrated my Postpartum Body as a life model last night ☺️💛

A safe and sacred circle of 12 women celebrating the female form through art 👑🎨🎉

I loved it! And celebrated the amount of self love I have for body 💛

A version of me three years ago would've definitely NOT done this!
Like many of us, I had destructive and toxic conditioning that turned into false beliefs about myself and my body.

🌟 January 2020 version of me desired for authentic, deep and meaningful relationship with myself and friendships.

🌟 I followed the cosmic clues and synchronicities on how to manifest those desires.

👉 I fully immersed myself in my spiritual awakening and healing journey.

👑 I manifested the aligned support, guidance and sisterhood community that I truly desired.

💛 I now have a deeply nourishing, authentic and meaningful relationship with myself and to the special people in my life.

I celebrate each woman alive! And those before us who paved the way for real change.
I wish that we help raise and support each other more than ever before 🎉

I am re-remembering what I signed up to do in this lifetime and I am truly excited for the women I have the pleasure to guide this year and beyond ☺️
